Open Educational Resources (OER) Workshop

This summer is the perfect time to explore your options for OER and library resources. Open Educational Resources (OER) are largely electronic resources and can include textbooks, course readings, simulations, games, learning objects, and quizzes, available for little or no cost. In fact, sources of OER are so numerous it can be a challenge to locate useful and relevant resources. In this hands on workshop we will provide an overview of repositories, open textbook initiatives and copyright considerations surrounding the use of OER,  as well as examine  some trusted sources for OER and explore library resources.
